Premier League club Arsenal appear to be serious in their pursuit of Noni Madueke this summer. According to reports, the Gunners have submitted an initial offer to Chelsea for the talented winger.
Arsenal have been notably active in the current transfer window as they aim to strengthen their squad in pursuit of ending their title drought next season.
Recently, the North London side have been linked with a move for Chelsea’s Noni Madueke. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are showing genuine interest in securing the 22-year-old’s services and have already submitted an official proposal.
The report states that Arsenal made their first bid after holding preliminary discussions with Chelsea. The initial offer is believed to be worth around £50 million, including add-ons.
Arsenal reportedly consider their offer to be competitive and are hopeful that Chelsea will be willing to negotiate.
However, Romano also notes that Chelsea are likely to reject the opening bid. The Blues are understood to be seeking a higher fee, demanding at least £50 million in guaranteed cash payments, with additional performance-based bonuses potentially taking the deal beyond £60 million.
Chelsea believe this valuation reflects Madueke’s potential and remain open to further negotiations with Arsenal regarding a possible transfer.
