Igor Tudor has been confirmed to continue as head coach of Juventus for the upcoming 2025/2026 season. The club, known as La Vecchia Signora, officially announced that Tudor will remain in charge.
Initially, it was widely speculated that Tudor would be replaced during the summer. Juventus had reportedly explored alternative options, including approaches to Antonio Conte and Gian Piero Gasperini.
However, complications arose when Conte decided to stay with Napoli and Gasperini opted to join AS Roma. As a result, Juventus was unable to exercise the clause that would have allowed them to terminate Tudor's contract.
Juventus General Manager Damien Comolli confirmed that Tudor’s role will extend beyond the FIFA Club World Cup.
"I can confirm that Tudor will remain our head coach for next season, beyond the Club World Cup," Comolli stated, as quoted by Football Italia.
Tudor was appointed on March 23, 2025, replacing Thiago Motta. Under his leadership, Juventus secured a fourth-place finish in Serie A, earning qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
That qualification automatically triggered a one-year contract extension through 2026. Although Juventus held a €1 million buyout option to terminate the deal, the deadline to activate it is July 31, 2025—and the club has chosen not to pursue it.
