Serie A giants Inter Milan are intensifying their efforts to sign Rasmus Hojlund. According to recent reports, the Nerazzurri have submitted a second proposal to Manchester United, this time in the form of a player-plus-cash deal.
Inter are actively looking to strengthen their squad this summer following a trophyless campaign last season. Determined to be more competitive in the upcoming season, the club is targeting several reinforcements, with Hojlund emerging as a key candidate.
The Manchester United striker is seen as a strong fit for Inter's attacking line, given his profile and potential. According to United in Focus, Inter Milan initially submitted a loan offer for Hojlund, which included a season-long loan with an option to buy at the end of the term. However, Manchester United rejected the proposal outright, stating they are only open to a permanent transfer this summer.
Despite the setback, Inter have not given up. They have now returned with a revised offer involving a swap deal. The new proposal includes Inter striker Mehdi Taremi, along with a cash component, in exchange for Hojlund.
This move reflects Inter’s intent to offload Taremi, who is not part of the club’s long-term plans. Additionally, it capitalizes on Manchester United’s previous interest in the Iranian forward.
