There are significant developments regarding the future of Theo Hernandez. The AC Milan left-back is reportedly on the verge of completing a move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.
This summer, Theo made the decision to part ways with AC Milan, feeling that his journey with the Rossoneri had come to a natural conclusion. Eager for a new challenge, the French international set his sights on a move abroad.
Earlier reports suggested that Al-Hilal had emerged as the frontrunner for his signature. However, negotiations initially stalled due to Hernandez’s hesitation about relocating to Saudi Arabia.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the situation has now shifted. Hernandez is now said to be fully convinced by the project at Al-Hilal and is expected to finalize his transfer soon.
Romano reports that Al-Hilal recently held a direct meeting with Hernandez. The discussions, led by club president Fahad Bin Saad Bin Nafel, were productive and instrumental in changing the defender’s stance on the move.
Hernandez is now reportedly enthusiastic about continuing his career in the Saudi Pro League, paving the way for Al-Hilal to push forward with the next phase of the transfer process.
Al-Hilal is keen to finalize the deal without delay. Talks with AC Milan over the transfer fee are scheduled to take place shortly, while the club is also working to finalize personal terms with Hernandez.
According to Romano, Al-Hilal aims to complete the entire deal before the end of the week. The club is moving swiftly to avoid any late complications or a change of heart from the player.
