Andy Robertson expressed his delight after Liverpool finally put an end to their losing streak and he’s urging his teammates to turn that relief into momentum for a winning run.
The Scottish full-back started in Liverpool’s trip to Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday (Oct 23, 2025, early morning WIB), providing the assist for Hugo Ekitike’s equalizer in the 28th minute. From there, Liverpool dominated the match and cruised to an emphatic 5–1 victory exactly the kind of result the Reds needed after a tough spell.
Before this, Liverpool had endured four consecutive defeats three in the Premier League and one in the Champions League including last weekend’s 1–2 loss to Manchester United at Anfield.
The win came as a huge relief for Robertson, especially given the scrutiny surrounding Liverpool over the past month. After spending heavily in the summer, the team had been under pressure to deliver results.
Now, Robertson believes this performance in Frankfurt could mark the start of a new chapter.
