AC Milan and Juventus played out a goalless draw in their Serie A clash, leaving Adrien Rabiot visibly frustrated with his team’s inability to secure a win over his former club.
The match, held at Allianz Stadium in the early hours of Monday, ended 0-0 despite both sides having their chances.
Milan registered 13 shots, with four on target, while Juventus had 12 attempts and tested the keeper three times. The Bianconeri had a golden opportunity to break the deadlock in the second half through a penalty, but Christian Pulisic failed to convert.
Rabiot, now wearing Milan colors, was disappointed with the outcome. The former Juventus midfielder felt his team should’ve taken all three points.
“It was an emotional night,” Rabiot told DAZN. “I know a lot of the guys at Juventus the players, the staff, even Tudor. I was really happy to be back here. I wanted to win, but that’s football. We’ll keep pushing forward.”
He didn’t hide his frustration, though: “I’m angry because we should’ve won. We had our chances, but something was missing. We need to do more and grow as a team. It’s still early in the season, but a win here would’ve meant a lot.”
With the result, Juventus sit fifth in the Serie A standings with 12 points, while Milan hold third place with 13.
