Bayern Munich continued their perfect start to the Bundesliga season with a commanding 3-0 win away to Eintracht Frankfurt. Luis Díaz was the standout performer, scoring twice and providing an assist.
The match, part of Matchday 6 of the German Bundesliga, took place at Deutsche Bank Park in the early hours of Sunday.
Bayern wasted no time making an impact just one minute into the game, Luis Díaz found the back of the net, finishing off a low cross from Serge Gnabry to give the visitors an early 1-0 lead.
Frankfurt thought they had equalized in the 14th minute through Jean Bahoya, but the goal was ruled out by VAR due to a foul in the buildup.
Instead, it was Bayern who struck again. In the 27th minute, Díaz turned provider, setting up Harry Kane with a short pass just outside the box. The English striker made no mistake, doubling Bayern’s lead with a well-placed shot. The first half ended 2-0 in favor of the visitors.
The second half saw Díaz back on the scoresheet. After receiving a pass from Raphaël Guerreiro, he weaved past defenders on the left wing and fired a shot on target to seal the 3-0 win.
The result maintains Bayern’s 100% record in the 2025/26 Bundesliga campaign. Vincent Kompany’s side sits comfortably at the top of the table with 18 points, while Frankfurt remain in sixth place with 9 points.
