The 2025/2026 UEFA Champions League standings have taken shape after the second matchday of the league phase. Six teams remain perfect so far, with Bayern Munich leading the pack. Meanwhile, Barcelona and Liverpool are surprisingly down in 16th and 17th place.
Matchday 2 wrapped up with Bayern Munich sitting comfortably at the top of the table. The German giants thrashed Pafos FC 5-1 away from home, collecting their second win and boasting a +6 goal difference.
Hot on their heels are Real Madrid, who also maintained a perfect record after hammering Kairat 5-0. Madrid have the same goal difference as Bayern (+6), but sit second due to having scored fewer goals overall.
Paris Saint-Germain are right behind in third place. The French champions edged out Barcelona 2-1 in a dramatic clash, keeping their 100% record intact.
Inter Milan and Arsenal round out the top five, both also on six points. Inter cruised past Slavia Prague 3-0, while Arsenal secured a solid 2-0 win over Olympiacos.
The surprise package of the round? Qarabag. The Azerbaijani side shocked many by beating FC Copenhagen 2-0 at home, making them the sixth team with back-to-back wins and placing them sixth in the standings.
Not all the big names are having it easy, though. Barcelona and Liverpool, both losing midweek, now find themselves in the middle of the table in 16th and 17th place, each with just three points.
As for Juventus, things aren't looking great. The Italian side are down in 23rd, still winless after a 2-2 draw with Villarreal, leaving them with only two points.
