Tottenham Hotspur are through to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup after a convincing 3-0 win over League One side Doncaster Rovers.
Playing at home at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the early hours of Thursday (Sept 25, 2025), Spurs wasted no time in taking control of the match.
João Palhinha opened the scoring in the 14th minute with an acrobatic finish, firing in a bicycle kick after Doncaster failed to clear a corner.
Just three minutes later, Spurs doubled their lead when Doncaster defender Jay McGrath turned the ball into his own net.
From there, the home side remained firmly in control, creating several chances throughout the match. Their dominance paid off again in stoppage time, with Brennan Johnson calmly slotting home in a one on one situation after a well-timed assist from Lucas Bergvall on the counterattack.
The comfortable win sees Tottenham advance to the fourth round of the 2025/26 Carabao Cup.
