Barcelona secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Getafe in their latest LaLiga 2025/2026 fixture. Playing at the Estadi Johan Cruyff on Monday (June 22, 2025), the Blaugrana dominated from the start and took control early.
The breakthrough came in the 15th minute, with Ferran Torres slotting home a right-footed finish after a clever assist from Dani Olmo, putting the hosts 1-0 up.
Torres struck again in the 34th minute, this time capping off a swift counter-attack led by Raphinha. His second goal doubled Barcelona’s lead, and they went into halftime comfortably ahead at 2-0.
In the second half, Hansi Flick brought on Marcus Rashford, and the English forward made an immediate impact. In the 62nd minute, Rashford delivered a pinpoint cutback that Dani Olmo coolly converted to make it 3-0.
Rashford nearly added a fourth just four minutes later, but his shot was denied by the Getafe goalkeeper.
Barcelona kept pushing for more in the closing stages, with chances falling to Rashford and Roony Bardghji. However, the scoreline remained unchanged until the final whistle.
With this win, Barcelona now sit second in the table with 13 points from five matches, trailing Real Madrid by just two points. Meanwhile, Getafe remain in eighth place with 9 points, having won three and lost two so far this season.
