Rasmus Hojlund is back in Italy, this time with Napoli, and he's ready to show just how much he's grown. The Danish striker joins Napoli on a season-long loan from Manchester United, aiming to reignite his form after finding limited opportunities at Old Trafford.
Before signing with United, Hojlund had already made a name for himself in Serie A with Atalanta, where he scored 10 goals and provided 4 assists in 34 appearances during the 2022/2023 season.
Now 22 and more experienced, Hojlund is eager to prove he's matured both on and off the pitch.
“This time it's different,” Hojlund told Football Italia. “I come with more experience and I’ve developed a lot as a player. I’ve played in the Premier League, Champions League, Europa League, and across different countries. That’s made me stronger.”
“I have a lot to prove, and I’m excited to do it with one of the best teams in Italy. Napoli is going to be something special.”
Known for his relentless work ethic, Hojlund added, “I always give everything. I like to say I’m ready to die on the pitch I’ll fight for every ball, create chances, score goals, and do whatever it takes for the team.”
