Inter Milan have officially completed the signing of French midfielder Andy Diouf from Ligue 1 side RC Lens. The 22-year-old joins the Nerazzurri on a contract running until 2030.
The announcement was made in the early hours of Saturday, August 23, 2025 (WIB), through Inter's official channels, accompanied by a warm welcome:
"Welcome to the Nerazzurri, Diouf."
While the club did not disclose the transfer fee, several Italian outlets report the deal to be worth €20 million, with an additional €5 million in potential bonuses.
Diouf has already completed his medical and has been handed the No. 17 shirt at his new club.
The Rennes academy graduate expressed his excitement about joining the Italian giants, saying he didn’t hesitate once the opportunity arose.
"Inter is a club with a rich history. As soon as I heard about their interest, I didn’t think twice there was no doubt in my mind. It's an honor to be here," said Diouf.
"Wearing the Inter shirt means a lot to me. I'm extremely proud and can’t wait to step onto the pitch at the Giuseppe Meazza."
Diouf becomes Inter Milan’s fifth signing of the 2025 summer transfer window, following the arrivals of Luis Henrique, Ange-Yoan Bonny, Petar Sucic, and Nicola Zalewski, as Cristian Chivu continues to strengthen his squad.
