Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in bringing Jadon Sancho back to the club. The 25-year-old winger is currently on Manchester United’s transfer list after falling out of favor at Old Trafford.
Sancho was left out of United’s pre-season squad and is among five players said to have contributed to a lack of harmony in the dressing room.
Last season, Sancho was loaned out to Chelsea, but the Blues opted not to make the move permanent after his loan spell ended.
Several clubs have been linked with Sancho, including Juventus, Napoli, and a few Saudi Arabian sides keen on signing the former Manchester City prospect.
According to Sky Sports, Dortmund are now seriously considering a move for Sancho. However, the Bundesliga club has yet to submit an official offer to United.
While United prefer a permanent transfer, they are reportedly open to a one-season loan deal with an obligation for Dortmund to buy.
With the recent departures of Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Youssoufa Moukoko this summer, Dortmund are in the market for reinforcements up front and Sancho could be a natural fit.
The England international is no stranger to the Yellow Wall, having played for Dortmund between 2017 and 2021 before joining Manchester United. He also returned on loan during the 2023/2024 season.
