AC Milan has officially completed the signing of Swiss midfielder Ardon Jashari from Club Brugge on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. The transfer comes after a lengthy negotiation process with the Belgian club.
The 23-year-old joins the Rossoneri in a deal reportedly worth €37 million, including bonuses. Jashari will wear the number 30 jersey at San Siro, as confirmed in the club’s official announcement.
But Jashari isn’t just another young signing. He was a standout performer for Club Brugge last season, making 52 appearances across all competitions and playing a key role in their Belgian Cup triumph. His impressive displays earned him both the Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards in the Belgian league.
Unsurprisingly, his form caught the attention of top European clubs, and after a competitive transfer race, Milan secured his signature.
Interestingly, Brugge had only signed Jashari from Luzern last summer for around €6 million. Just one season later, his market value skyrocketed, making this one of the most profitable deals in the Belgian club’s recent history.
Jashari’s arrival is seen as a key addition to Massimiliano Allegri’s squad. With his ability to dictate the tempo, sharp vision, and tenacity in midfield, he’s expected to immediately challenge for a starting spot next season.
Milan is currently in the midst of rebuilding, aiming to reestablish themselves as serious contenders in Serie A. Investing in young, high-potential talents like Jashari reflects the club’s new direction blending future promise with Milan’s rich tradition.
Now, all eyes will be on Jashari to see if he can rise to the occasion on a bigger stage and help lead Milan back to glory.
